TEXTBOOK BUYING TIPS

The following suggestions can help students make smart decisions when purchasing textbooks.

1. Know your store's refund policy, especially deadlines.
2. Keep your receipts. The bookstore requires receipts for returns.
3. Don't write in your book until you're certain you'll be keeping them.
4. Buy "used" books whenever possible. Used books save you 25% over the cost of a new textbook.
5. Bring your schedule-your course and section numbers are on it (certain sections of the same class use difference books).
